Ingredients: Beer (of course), good friends, venue
Step 1. Take "ice" cold beer from cooling device, ie esky, fridge.
Step 2. Find comfortable place to be whilst partaking in fore mentioned beverage.
(Prime position is in front an open fire with a few of your best mates)
Step 3. open beer and take in the wonderful aroma!!! (mmmmmmm)
Step 4. Slowly sip
(be sure to drink beer in front of fire at a healthy pace so to avoid a warming effect and thusly ruining the beer)
Step 5. When beer is empty return to Step 3 and repeat as many time as necessary, or until one passes out.

If you are drinking a light beer that works fine, but if you are having something with a little more heft you won't want it "ice" cold.
Most beer tastes best in the high 50s.
