I just read a new article, here.
It looks like that people from all over the world don't seem to have any respect or even comprehension of the shear magntiude of the Australian continent. A British tourist who had gotten himself lost in the remote interior of the Northern Territory and been rescued decided that he had left something of importance behind in the bush when he got lost. So being the intelligent and respectful person he is went back into the bush to find this object. He got lost again and once again had to be rescued.
Australia is BIG place but some people just can't quite grasp the vastness.
Hopefully there are no other victims of the bush in the near future.
My rant is done....
